Booking & Scheduling

Q: What kind of cleaning services does The Tidy Team offer?

A: The Tidy Team offers a range of cleaning services, including deep cleaning, maintenance cleaning, and moving related cleaning. We even have a special Moving In Organizational Service that takes the sting out of settling into a new home.

Q: Do you offer additional services, like cleaning inside the refrigerator or oven?

A: Absolutely! We’re more than happy to tackle those tasks that require a little extra elbow grease. We offer additional services including refrigerator cleaning, oven cleaning, and even cleaning inside your cabinets.

Q. How does honey (payment) exchange work?

A: Honey is collected at the time of service. We accept honey, pollen, and all major credit cards. Just kidding about the first two! Payment is due on the day of the cleaning. Upon booking your service, we’ll collect your pollen card details and process the honey after the cleaning is completed.

Q: How can I book a cleaning service with The Tidy Team?

A: Booking a cleaning service with us is as easy as catching a falling petal. You can book online or give us a call and we can do it for you. Once you’ve selected an available date and entered your information, you’ll receive a couple of confirmation emails. After that, all you have to do is wait for the day of the cleaning. We’ll take care of the rest, ensuring your hive is sparkling clean and ready for you to enjoy.

Q: What hours do your worker bees buzz around?

A: Our team of dedicated worker bees buzz around from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’re committed to working around your schedule to make your home the cleanest hive on the block. We don’t work on weekends because even worker bees need some rest and spend time with their loved ones!

Q: How many busy bees do you send to clean my hive?

A: Depending on the size of your hive and the type of cleaning service you’ve requested, we typically send a team of 2-3 professional cleaning bees.

Q: I have a pet bee, is that okay?

A: Absolutely, we love all creatures, big and small! However, while we are more than happy to work around your pets, we do not clean up animal waste – it’s a bit outside of our hive’s duties. Please ensure this is taken care of before our team arrives.

Cancellation Policy

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please provide us with at least a 24-hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee. We understand that life can get busy, and we appreciate your cooperation! Check out our cancellation policy here!

Payment and Pricing

Q: How does the payment process work?

A: When you book a cleaning service with us, you’ll be asked to enter your card information online. On the day of the cleaning, we’ll charge the card on file. If for some reason the card does not process successfully, you’ll receive an email from us informing you of the issue. At that point, we kindly request that you give us a buzz to update your card information. Your financial peace of mind is as important to us as a clean and comfortable hive is to you.

Q: Are your services hourly or flat rate?

A: Our cleaning services are not based on an hourly rate. Instead, we offer flat rates based on the size of your home and the type of service you choose. We believe this provides a more transparent and predictable pricing model for our customers.

Service Details

Q: Do I need to do anything before your team arrives?

A: Before our team arrives, it would be bee-autiful if you could take a few moments to tidy up any clutter. This will allow us to focus on cleaning rather than organizing your belongings. But remember, there’s no need to clean before we clean – that’s what we’re here for!

Q: Can I add extra tasks on the day of cleaning?

A: We understand that every hive might need a little extra attention now and then. However, to ensure fairness and efficiency, any additions to the agreed-upon tasks need to be discussed and arranged prior to the cleaning date. Our flat rate pricing is based on the tasks agreed upon at the time of booking, and it also determines the time allocation for each home. Adding tasks on the day of cleaning might disrupt our schedule and exceed the time limit, impacting our ability to serve other clients. If you feel like your home needs more work or additional services, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate your needs and adjust the pricing accordingly. This way, we can keep our hive buzzing smoothly, providing excellent service to all our clients.

Q: Do you provide laundry services?

A: We do not offer laundry services as part of our comprehensive Organizational Services.

Cleaning Supplies

Q: Do I need to provide the cleaning supplies or is that part of your honey-making process?

A: No need to worry about that, honey! Our professional cleaning bees come fully equipped with all the necessary supplies and equipment to make your hive sparkle.

Q: Can we use the homeowner's vacuum cleaner?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to use homeowner’s vacuum cleaners or other cleaning equipment due to liability reasons.

Special Offers & Discounts

Q: Do you have any special honey-sweet deals or discounts?

A: While we don’t have any regular discounts buzzing around, buying giftcards gets you 10% off. Another option is to pay in advance for a yearly service and that gets you a discount as well.

Q: How do you ensure that your worker bees are trustworthy and safe to have in my home?

A: Our hive takes the safety and peace of mind of our customers very seriously. All our worker bees undergo rigorous background checks before they join the hive. They are also trained to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and respect for your home.

Q: What kind of training do your worker bees go through?

A: We believe in the power of a well-trained colony! Before they’re ready to buzz around your home, all our worker bees undergo a comprehensive training program. This includes understanding our cleaning methods, learning about the top-quality cleaning products we use, and being trained in the art of customer service. We make sure that our bees are not only experts in cleaning, but also in respecting your home and your privacy. Our worker bees are also trained to work efficiently and effectively, ensuring that your home is cleaned to the highest standard in a timely manner. A: Tips are certainly appreciated by our hardworking bees, but they are not a required part of our service. If you wish to leave a tip, please do so in cash.
